Following up on Promises

This article gave me a little bit more confidence in the agreement reached in Copenhagen during December. The article makes the agreement seem like a good place to start, only if everyone makes good on what they said they would do.  Like the author says though, it is not legally binding . Do you think a good place to start is enough from world leaders right now?

I read the article and with most of the nations attended promising to have a bill up by the end of this month does sound promising. The only thing I’m worried about is if Obama will pull through.
In Kyoto, agreements were made but it was never ratified here in the US. Hopefully Copenhagen will turn out to be positive.
