I think this is a good idea. It might be more successful of a product if it had a different name though.

This is a wonderful solution in nations with high population and little resources, I find it hard to believe that this would ever become “poop”-ular in developed countries, especially the United States.

I need this bag now for my cats! I’m forever battling challenges on being sustainable with my cats. I have 100% fast bio-degradable bags to clean their boxes with but I don’t fully trust the labeling; especially when the ingredients that go into making the bag aren’t listed. If I lived in a house then I would have a compost heap far away from the living area, or have a cat door so they can do their business outside. I’ve realized that having cats are not sustainable by any means no matter how hard I try. If anybody has any suggestions I would love to hear about them.

There’s a great analysis of the Peepoo’s viability in India here inclusive of some insightful commentary by the author of the Bangladeshi study in the comments section.
